Q: Where are you located relative to the airport?
A: We are located about 75 yards north of the intersection of Broad Street with Aero (The street that turns into the airport.) Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
A: You cannot reserve a space in advance. It is first come, first served, but we have never run out of available parking spots. The software only allows you to pay on-site and on the day you arrive. Do not attempt to pay in advance of arrival. The software will not work that way.
Q: What are our days and hours of operation?
A: We are open 24/7/365. You can come and go at any hour of the day/night.
Q: Is the parking lot patrolled.
A: YES. It is professionally managed and the lot is patrolled 7 days per week. If you do not pay or keep your payments current, you will be towed.
Q: What happens if I arrive and all 40 parking spaces are taken?
A: There is overflow parking shown on the Parking Lot Diagram. This map shows the overflow parking spots in yellow and orange. Please do not park in these overflow spots unless all 40 numbered spots are occupied. Sometimes on the busiest holiday weekends, even these overflow spaces will fill up. If so, park in one of the orange colored spaces on the far side of the dedicated parking lot. Please do not park in other than these spaces as those are allocated for customers of other businesses in the development.
Q: How do I pay?
A: Parking is payable using the ParkWhiz App. You can scan the QR code below or on one of the signs at the lot or download the App at ParkWhiz.com. The ParkWhiz App is the ONLY method by which you can pay. Visit our Instructions Page for more details on using the ParkWhiz App. We highly recommend that you use the method for payment outlined in our “Instructions” page and pay when you arrive on site. Do not attempt to pay in advanced.
Q. What happens if I am having difficulty making the App work?
A: If you are unable to successfully navigate the ParkWhiz App, we strongly suggest that you do not park at ABC Parking. The only way we can be sure that your parking has been paid for is if you have the correct time period and license plate number in the app. Do not try contacting ParkWhiz directly as they cannot help you with your parking issues. If you are questioning whether you successfully used the app and paid for parking, please email us at FSVSLDC@gmail.com with your license number, day that you parked, make and model of your car. No car is ever towed if a timely inquiry has been made through this email.
Q: How long can I park?
A: As long as you wish. We have no limit on length of stay. However, our software only allows for payment of up to 30 days at once. So if you need to stay for more than 30 days, you will need to initially pay for the 30 days, then when the 30 days is up, you will need to extend your parking stay. See below for instructions on how to extend your stay. You must extend your parking payment prior to the expiration of the initial parking payment. For instructions on extending your parking, see #12 in the Parking Instructions tab.
Q: Is there a discount for long term parking?
A: No. The cost is $12.50/calendar day, regardless of length of stay. Payment must be made in advance. We do not give discounts to airline employees nor do we have any other special arrangements.
Q: If I my flight is cancelled, return early or make a mistake paying with the ParkWhiz App can I get a refund?
A: There are NO refunds for any reason. To avoid paying when your flight is cancelled, use your airline’s phone app to check the status of your flight before paying. The ParkWhiz app is programed to charge $12.50/day and cannot make a mistake in charges unless you enter the wrong dates, for which ABC Parking has no control.
Q: If I am going to return later than the date that I had anticipated, will I be notified that my payment has run out and can I add payments to my account?
A: NO! Unfortunately, the ParkWhiz App has no method to inform you when your parking is expiring. We recommend that you set a reminder on your phone calendar for one day prior to your return to extend your parking should you need to.

Q: Is there a shuttle service?
A: No. We are located a 4 – 6 minute walk to the terminal depending on how quickly you walk. For your safety, please cross Broad Street at the signaled intersection at Aero and Broad Street. The entire pathway from our parking lot to the airport terminal is either concrete or asphalt pavement. Rolling your suitcase is not an issue.
Q: What do we do if we have a lot of luggage?
A: Some people drop off other travelers at the airport with the luggage, then go and park.
Q: Will my car be towed if my return flight gets delayed?
A: To avoid being towed, prior to expiration of your initial parking payment, add payment to the ParkWhiz app and extend your stay. ABC Parking uses College Towing to remove cars that are not current on their payments. Should you be towed, their phone number is: 805-544-3560.
Q: Can I park an oversized vehicle, like an RV or oversized truck?
A: Only standard sized vehicles are allowed. An “oversized vehicle” is defined as any vehicle that when parked in one of our standard sized parking spaces projects into the driving zones of the parking lot. (Please NO Ford 150’s or 250’s or similar vehicles, with or without extended cabs, or large pick up trucks of ANY make or model. These trucks are too big and project into the traffic aisle and are a safety issue for others.) Vehicles that interfere with traffic flow WILL be towed with no warning or grace period.
Q: Is there covered parking? Is the lot attended?
A: No, the parking is an open, well-lit lot. It is not attended but is patrolled for payment purposes.
Q: What do I do if I do not know how long I will be gone/my exact return date?
A: Park and register as usual. Estimate your return date. If you stay beyond your anticipated date, make an additional payment via the ParkWhiz app.
Q: Can I get a receipt for my parking?
A: Take a screen shot of your phone showing the payment.
